Solister Holley, 84, of 7418 Davison street, who died March 29 in a local
hospital, received funeral rites Sunday at Zion Light Church of Christ Disciples.

The Rev. J. T. Jones officiated. Burial was in Betty Jones Cemetery under
direction of E. A. Hughes Funeral Home.

The deceased was a native of Edenton, NC. He was a veteran deacon of Zion Light
Church.

Survivors include six sons, Garfield Holley of Cleveland, Herman, Gilbert,
Wallace,Armistead and Willie Holley of Norfolk; four daughters, Miss Elizabeth
Holley, Mrs. Helen Johnson and Mrs. Annie Ackiss of Norfolk and Mrs. Willie Mae
Holley of New York; three sisters, Mrs. Daisy Welch of New York; Mrs. Evie
Taylor of Waterbury CT, and Mrs Mary Stallings of Hobbsville, NC; seven
grandchildren, two great grandchildren, 11 nieces and four nephews.
