Norfolk - Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Lizzie Hymon, 72, of 987
Avenue H, Wednesday in Olive Grove Baptist Church. Burial was in Betty Jones
Cemetery with E. A. Hughes Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Hymon died May 23 in her
home after a long illness.

A native of Edenton, NC, she was a daughter of James Jackson and Mrs. Charlotte
Evans Jackson and widow of Lorenzo Hymon.

She was an usher of Olive Grove Baptist and member of Household of Ruth.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Jackson of New York; and four sisters,
Mrs. Lethea Johnson, Mrs. Anna Thigpen, Mrs. Gertrude White and Mrs. Mary Brown.
