Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb 8,1964
Norfolk - A funeral service for James Jefferson, of 736 Reservoir avenue, was 
held Wednesday in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. Walter L. Hildebrand of St. John 
AME Church.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of Alfred and Mrs. Alice Jefferson.  He is 
survived by six cousins.

(Note: per death certificate, burial in Jones Memorial Park)
