Norfolk Journal and Guide,Saturday,Aug 21,1954
William Jefferson, of Route 1, Box 81.A, Bayside, VA, died at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 4
at a Veterans Administration Hospital.  Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m.
at Morning Star Baptist Church, Princess Anne County.  Mr. Jefferson was a
veteran of World War 1 and a native of Oxford, NC.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Martha Jefferson;  two sons, Louis and Willie
Jefferson;  two daughters-in-law;  ten grandchildren;  and two great grandchildren.

Interment was in Betty Jones Cemetery, Princess Anne County, with Morning Glory
Funeral Home in charge.
