Norfolk - Wilbert Johnson of 1016 Chicazola St., the husband of Mrs. Beulah 
Johnson and a native of Portsmouth, died Dec. 21 in a hospital.

He worked for the sewage department of the City of Norfolk for 35 years and 
retired.

He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors also include a daughter, Mrs. Clarine Holliman of Norfolk; a son, 
Phillip Hawkins of North Carolina; and a brother, Cleothia Johnson of Norfolk.

A funeral was held Dec. 24 in Antioch Baptist Church by the Rev. I. J. Williams. 
Burial was in Jones Memorial Park, Virginia Beach, with Graves Funeral Home in 
charge.
