Funeral services for Miss Rosa Jones were conducted Sunday, June 22, at St. John
AME Church in Kempsville.

Burial was in Betty Jones Cemetery with the Rev. James officiating.

Miss Jones died June 15 at her residence, 6516 Newton road, Kempsville, VA. She
was a daughter of the late Charlie and Mrs. Lillie Jones and was born in
Princess Anne county.

She is survived by a son, Elijah Jones; seven sisters, Mrs. Margaret Cornick,
Mrs. Marie Baker, Miss Essie Jones, Mrs. Hattie Mae Johnson, Mrs. Nancy Summers,
Miss Bessie Jones, all of Princess Anne county and Mrs. Mary Brown of New York
City; five brothers, Robert, Lewis, Johnnie, Charlie, and William, all of
Princess Anne county.

Riddick Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
