The Rev. G. L. Parker will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Betty Jones Cemetery under direction of Citizens Funeral Home. Mrs. Joyner was a native of Princess Anne county. She was an employee of Little Creek Naval Exchange, an usher, choir singer and missionary unit member of Ebenezer, as well as a member of its Young People’s Bible circle., Fabuleers, the Order of Tents. Survivors include her parents, George Cross and Mrs. Virginia Wells Cross; her husband, Arthur Joyner Sr.; three sons, Abraham, Michael and Arthur Joyner Jr.; one daughter, Marinda Joyner; a sister, Miss Cora Lee Cross; three brothers, Clifton and Fred Cross and Ernest Wells; and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Estelle Cross. All are Norfolk residents.
