Norfolk Journal and Guide,  Nov 28,1959
John Wesley Kenion, a truck driver at Norfolk Municipal Airport, died Friday, 
Nov. 20, at his home, 5826 Military highway, after a long illness.

Mr. Kenion, a native of Jacksonville, NC, had been in Norfolk 45 years.  He was 
a son of the late Ned and Mrs. Kattie Fern  Kenion, and husband of Mrs. Sarah 
Kenion.

He was a member of the House of Prayer for All People.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are an adopted son, Charlie Holmes;  three 
sisters, Mrs. Jennie Ann Mashburn of Jacksonville, Mrs. Ethel Shepard of 
Philadelhia, PA, and Mrs. Rose Ward of Kinston, NC;  and one brother, George 
Kenion of Richlands, NC.

Funeral services were incomplete at press time.  Hale Funeral Home has the body.
