Norfolk - Funeral services for Elder Robert Kandler Killiebrew, who died on
March 5 at his home, 1077 Carrollton street, were held on March 11 from Solid
Rock Disciple Church with Bishop George Hodges officiating.

A member of the Disciples of Christ Church, Rev. Mr. Killiebrew was a native of
Tarboro NC, but had resided in Norfolk for over 50 years. He pastored several
churches among which were Jerusalem Disciple Church and Smyrna Disciple Church.
He later turned to evangelistic work until his health failed.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Killiebrew; two sons, Robert and Frank
Killiebrew of New York City; two daughters, Mrs. Antoinette Robinson of
Portsmouth VA; and Miss Rachel Killiebrew of Tulsa OK; one son-in-law, Jesse
James Robinson, U.S. Navy; two step-sons, David Bragg and John Hodges.

Interment was in Betty Jones Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge
of arrangements.
