Norfolk Journal and Guide,  Feb 1,1975
Norfolk - Joseph King, 80, of 700 Ligon St., a native of Elizabeth City, NC, 
died Monday Jan. 13, in a hospital.

He was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, and Berkley Odd 
Fellows Lodge.

Survivors include a son, Otis King of Norfolk;  a sister, Mrs. Hattie Moore of 
Baltimore;  and four grandchildren.

A funeral service wa held Saturday, Jan. 18, in Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, 
Virginia Beach, with burial in Jones Memorial Park, Virginia Beach.  Fitchett 
Funeral Home was in charge.
