Norfolk - Funeral rites for Ben Knight, a retired employee of the city of
Norfolk, were conducted Sunday at New Calvary Baptist Church, and burial was in
Betty Jones Memorial Park.

Mr. Knight, a native of Princess Anne County, died June 2 in a Plainfield, NJ,
hospital. He was the husband of Mrs. Jennie Knight and a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim
Knight.

Also surviving are three sons, Benjamin Knight of Norfolk, Robert Knight of
Virginia Beach and William Knight of Plainfield; three daughters, Miss Mildred
Knight of Norfolk, Mrs. Henrietta Miles of Virginia Beach and Mrs. Virginia
Wilson of Plainfield; and three sisters, Mrs. Rosa Reid, Mrs. Fannie McLawrence
and Mrs. Bessie Douglas, all of Norfolk.
