Virginia Beach - A funeral service was held Sunday in Morning Star Baptist Church 
for Charlie McCoy, 46, of 4460 Wishart road. Interment was in Jones Memorial Park 
with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge. Mr. McCoy died in a Norfolk hospital.

The Princess Anne County native was a son of Leroy McCoy and Mrs. Melvina McCoy. 
He was a gardener and a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Miss Parcella McCoy and Miss Donald Cason; a brother, 
Willie McCoy; and a sister, Mrs. Mattie Land, all of Virginia Beach; and two 
grandchildren.
