Funeral services for Clifton Mills Sr., who died July 18 at a local hospital after 
a short illness, were held Sunday, July 21, at St. John’s AME Church, Davis 
Corner, with the pastor, the Rev. H. L. James in charge.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cleo Mills; mother, Mrs. Mollie Mills; two sons, 
Wilbert and Clifton Mills Jr.,; three daughters, Mrs. Neomia Harris, Miss Thelma 
Mills and Miss Shirley Mills; three sisters, three brothers, three aunts, two 
uncles and a host of friends. Burial was in Betty Jones Cemetery with Morning 
Glory Funeral Home in charge.
