Funeral services for Charles Phillip Moore will be held Sunday, Sept. 28 at 
Trinity AME Church at one p.m. with pastor, the Rev. P. R. Cousins, 
officiating.

Mr. Moore who resided at 923 Craig street, died Sunday, September 21 at a 
local hospital after a short illness.  He was the son of the late James and 
Eliza Moore and a native of Charlotte NC.

He was a retired employee of the Norfolk and Southern Railroad where he had 
worked for 40 years and was a member of the Trinity AME Church of Berkley.

Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Moore;  one son, Willie James 
Moore, Baltimore;  two brothers, Walter Moore, Philadelphia, and Bratton 
Moore of N.Y.;  two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Alexander and Mrs. Sarah Hatfield, 
both of Charlotte, NC;  one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Geneva Moore, Baltimore, 
and other relatives.

Interment will be at Betty Jones Cemetery with Fitchett’s Funeral Home in 
charge of arrangements.
