Norfolk Journal and Guide, Oct 6,1962
Graveside services were scheduled Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. for Michel Pender, two-months 
old son of Mrs. Lessie Pender of 951 Avenue “H”.  The Rev. J. T. Jones was 
scheduled to officiate.

Surviving are six sisters, Joyce, Barbara Anne, Mildred Lee, Lessie, Gertrude and 
Carol Pender;  a grandmother, Mrs. Gertrude Goodman;  five uncles and five aunts.

Burial will be in Betty Jones Cemetery with E. A. Hughes Funeral Home in charge.
