Warren Perry, son of the late Zachariah and Mrs. Charlotte Perry, died Oct. 
15, in a local hospital at the age of 63.  He lived on Charlotte street.

A native of Wake Forest, NC, Mr. Perry had lived in Norfolk for thirty 
years.  He was a member of the Knights of Phythias and is survived by one 
sister, Mrs. Lola Myrick, Staten Island, NY;  and a brother Nathan Perry, 
Wilson, NC.

Final rites were held Saturday Oct. 19, at 3 p.m. from the Hale Funeral 
Chapel.  The Rev. J. R. Wilkins, pastor of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church of 
Portsmouth, VA, officiated.  Burial was in Betty Jones Cemetery in Princess 
Anne County.  Hale’s Funeral Home was in charge.

(Note:  death certificate lists birthplace as Wake County NC)
