Norfolk Journal and Guide, May 18,1963
Norfolk - George Plummer of 1440 Rochester avenue, who died May 6 in a local 
hospital, received final rites Sunday at Graves Funeral Home.

The Rev. John Wooden officiated at the services for the Warrenton, NC, native.  
Burial was in Betty Jones Cemetery under direction of Graves Funeral Home.

Mr. Plummer is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosa L. Plummer;  eight sons, Johnnie, 
Leon and Ernest Plummer of Norfolk, Lloyd, Clarence, Joseph, Willie and Thomas 
Plummer of New York;  four daughters, Mrs. Thelma Glasper and Mrs. Frances 
Chambers of Portsmouth, Mrs. Annie Lee Mitchell and Miss Bertha Lee Plummer of 
Norfolk;  and a brother, Howard Garner of Philadelphia.
