Virginia Beach - Final rites were conducted recently at First Baptist Church, 
Lynnhaven, for Albert C. Poyner, 74, of 395 Old Great Neck road.  Interment 
followed in Jones Memorial Park with Junius M. Bell Funeral Service of Virginia 
Beach in charge.  Dr. E. Ray Cox officiated.

Mr. Poyner, a retired custodian, was a member of First Baptist Church, 
Lynnhaven. He was the husband of Mrs. Corrine Poyner and the son of the late 
Steward and Mrs. Penny Poyner.

In addition to his widow surviving are two sons, George Poyner and Oliver 
Williams, a stepson, Alphonso Artist, all of Philadelphia;  a stepdaughter, Mrs. 
Rubineal Artist of Philadelphia;  a brother, Melvin Poyner of Pittsburgh;  and  
sister, Mrs. Clara Whitehurst of Virginia Beach.
