Norfolk - Final rites will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Hale Funeral Chapel for
James Riddick of 1240 Chapel street.  Mr. Riddick died July 17 in a local hospital.

Mr. Riddick, a native of Windsor, NC, was an employee of Birsch Construction
Company.  He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Colerain, NC.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maddie Riddick;  his mother, Mrs. Victoria
Riddick;  three sons, James Jr., George Lee, and Odell Riddick;  a daughter,
Miss Mageline Riddick;  four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Hoggard,  Mrs.  Estella
Stanley, Mrs. Josephine Holley and Mrs. Blanche Slade;  four brothers, Ross,
William, Harden, and Paul Lee Riddick, all of Colerain;  and 14 grandchildren.

Mr. Riddick Will be buried in Betty Jones Memorial Park.
