Norfolk Journal and Guide,Feb 13, 1960
Virginia Beach - Leroy Roberson, 24, of Atlantic Park, Route 1, died Feb. 1 
in a Norfolk hospital after a short illness.

A native of Bethel, NC, and son of Mrs. Maebell Roberson, he had lived at 
the beach 19 years. He was a farmer.

Besides his mother, he is survived by three sisters, Misses Ethel Mae, Cora 
Lee and Shirley Anne Roberson, and one brother, John Thomas Roberson Jr., 
all of Virginia Beach.

Funeral services were conducted Feb. 8 at Hairston Funeral Home by Elder H. 
C. Benjamin, pastor of Emanuel Church of God in Christ, Potsmouth. Burial 
was in Betty Jones Cemetery.
