Norfolk Journal and Guide,July 24,1954
Alexander Roberts, 70, of 725 East Princess Anne road, died at 2:30 a.m., July 8 
at his residence. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. July 12 at Hale's Funeral 
Home with the Rev. C. C. Faulcon officiating.

Mr. Roberts was a native of Petersburg VA. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. 
Minnie Roberts. Burial was in Betty Jones Cemetery.
