Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, December 4, 1990 
Arthur Rose, of the 800 block of Maltby Ave., died Nov. 30, 1990, in a hospital.

Mr. Rose, a native of Jarratt, had retired from the Norfolk & Western Railway.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Lee Rose; a daughter, Shelia Rose, and two
sons, McArthur Rose and Archie L. Rose, all of New York City; three sisters,
Margaret Patrick of Jarratt, Inez Rose of New York and Beulah Huffin of Norfolk;
a stepsister, Gladys Everett of Norfolk; a brother, Phillip Parham of Stony
Creek, Va.; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Mount Lebanon Baptist Church
by the Rev. Ronnie Joyner. Burial will be in Betty Jones Cemetery . Family and
friends will assemble at the residence. The body will be placed in church at 10
a.m. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
