Norfolk - Mrs. Jeannie Silvers, 80, of 1565 Charles street, was given funeral 
services June 11 at Hale Funeral Home.  The Rev. W. L. Kearney officiated.  
Burial was in Betty Jones Cemetery.

Mrs. Silvers died June 7 in a nursing home.  She was a native of Princess Anne 
County and a member of 
Goodwill Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, William Silvers of Baltimore;  a daughter, Mrs. Mattie 
James of Norfolk;  four grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
