Norfolk - Lewis Skinner, 72, of 921 Marshall avenue, was given final rites 
Sunday in Citizens Funeral Home by the Rev. C. J. Parker.  Burial was in Betty 
Jones Cemetery.  Mr. Skinner died in his home May 26 after a long illness.

A native of Durant’s Neck, NC, he was a son of Walter Riddick and Mrs. Luvenia 
Skinner and the husband of Mrs. Sallie J. Skinner.

He was a retired city employee.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by four brothers, Albert Skinner and 
the Rev. John C. Riddick of Norfolk, the Rev. Willie Riddick of Portsmouth and 
James E. Riddick of North Carolina.
