Norfolk - Mrs. Sallie Skinner, 59, of 855 Fremont street, died in a nursing
home. A native of Hertford, NC, she was a daughter of Edgar and Mrs. Lucarine
Foreman and the widow of Linwood Skinner, Sr.

She was a Baptist. She is survived by two sons, Linwood Skinner Jr., and Ossie
Skinner, and three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Flournoy, Mrs. Gloria Roberson and
Mrs. Cora Lee Howard, all of Norfolk; three brothers, Charlie Foreman and Van
David Foreman of Norfolk, and Isaac Foreman of Virginia Beach; five sisters,
Mrs. Louise Arnold, Miss Beulah Mae Foreman, Miss Willie Mae Foreman, Miss
Minnie Foreman and Miss Lucille Foreman of Virginia Beach; and 23 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in Morning Star Baptist Church by the Rev. C. H.
Williams with burial in Jones Memorial Park.

Community Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
