Chesapeake - Joseph J. Sneed, 17, a son of Joseph H. Winfield and Mrs. Gloston 
S. Winfield and a native of Virginia Beach, died Friday, September 27. He lived 
at 2913 Doris Ave.

He was a student at Indian River High School and a member of Antioch Baptist 
Church.

Also surviving are six sisters, Misses Debra Sneed, Sharon Sneed, Denise 
Winfield, Jeanette Winfield, and Missila Winfield, and a brother, Jessie L. 
Sneed, all of Chesapeake.

A funeral service was held Thursday, October 4, in Antioch Baptist Church by Dr. 
I. Joseph Williams. Burial was in Jones Memorial Park with Community Funeral 
Home in charge.
