The Virginian Pilot Saturday October 14, 1961
BACK BAY - Jimed Stevens, 85, a lifelong resident of Princess Anne County, died 
Thursday at 10 p.m. in his home here.

He was a son of Joseph B. and Mrs. Mary Amy Whitson Stevens and the widower of 
Mrs. Stella Ewell Stevens.

Surviving are a daughter, Miss Angie Frances Stevens of Back Bay; and three 
brothers, W. E. Stevens of Norfolk and J. B. and Cecil Stevens of Knotts Isand.

The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Kala Church of 
Christ for a funeral service Sunday at 3 p.m.  Burial will be in Oak Grove 
Baptist Church cemetery.  The body will be at the church at 2 p.m.
