Norfolk Journal and Guide, Apr 14,1962

A funeral service was held Sunday at Morning Star Baptist Church for Mrs. Janie 
Wiggins, 74, of 7021 Bayside road, who died at her home on April 3.

The Rev. G. L. Parker, pastor of the church, conducted the service.  Burial was 
in Betty Jones Cemetery under direction of Morning Glory Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wiggins was a native of Sunbury, NC.  She lived in Norfolk 46 years and was 
a member of the Good Samaritans, Morning Star Church and its senior choir.

Her survivors are her husband, Lewis Wiggins;  a son, Eddie Wiggins;  and a 
daughter, Miss Mary Lucy Wiggins of Norfolk.
