Virginia Beach - Mrs. Mary Williams of 549 Griffin road, the widow of Nathaniel 
Williams, died in a nursing home after a long illness.

A native of York County, she was a daughter of Nathan and Mrs. Martha Smith.

She was a member of Union Baptist Church and Rising Sun Lodge.

She was the mother-in-law of Mrs. Annie Williams of Virginia Beach.

Surviving are four grandchildren;  and six great-grandchildren.

Services were held in Union Kempsville Baptist Church by Dr. S. L. Scott.  
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services were held Aug. 4 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
