Norfolk - John Willis of 4707 Courtland road died recently in a local hospital.
A native of Princess Anne County, he was the son of Davis and Mrs. Emmaline
Willis and the husband of the late Mrs. Ethel Willis. He was a 30 year retired
employee of New York Central Railroad. He was also a member of Morning Star
Baptist Church of Virginia Beach, and Washington Masonic Lodge 139.

He is survived by a son, Edward Willis of McBean, GA; a daughter, Mrs. Emma
Willis of Brooklyn, NY; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Kelly of Virginia Beach; six
grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held in Morning Star Baptist church with burial in Jones
Memorial Park. Hale Funeral Home was in charge.
