The Norfolk Virginian Pilot October 4, 1943
Vera Wilson, five-year-old daughter of Thomas J. and Bertie Barnes Wilson, died 
at a local hospital yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock after a short illness.  
Besides her parents she is survived by two sisters, Jeannette and Bettie Lou 
Wilson; her grandmothers, Mrs. Janie Land Wilson and Mrs. Daisy Murden Barnes, 
both of Princess Anne County; her great-grandmother, Mrs. Virginia Barnes, of 
Great Bridge, and several aunts and uncles.
The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Nimmo Methodist 
Church Cemetery for funeral services at the grave tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 
o'clock.
