James Pomeroy, son of Mary L. and  Richard Pomeroy, was born June 5, 1798, died 
April 25, 1872.  He was twice married, first to Miss  Sarah Lake, May 12, 1820, 
who died Mar. 5, 1855.  His second marriage was Feb. 12, 1855 to Miss Nancy 
Beaty.

Adeline, born Apr. 19, 1823 of Liberty Hall

John Hamilton, born July 15, 1825 married first, Annie Neaton and second Letha 
Pomeroy.  John Hamilton, was the father of Tilden, Hays and  Grover C. Pomeroy, 
sons of Letha P.

Mary Elizabeth born Feb. 18, 1828

Rebecca, born Nov 21, 1830

Johnson Pomeroy born May 13, 1832.  Married twice, first to Susan Johnson and 
second to Sarah Edmonds

Margaret born Feb. 10, 1936

Martha Pomeroy born Mar. 7, 1838

Lucy Pomeroy born Sept. 11, 1842

Thos. M. Pomeroy born Sept. 11, 1842, killed in the War Between the  States

Richard Pomeroy’s youngest son, William married Lucine Beaty, daughter of John 
Beaty, the Primitive Baptist Preacher

Children of Wm. Pomeroy, I., were John B. Robert, Wm. II., Richard II., and a 
daughter, Myra L., who married Warren Beaty

John B. Pomeroy married his cousin, Mary B. Pomeroy.  They had two daughters, 
Reno and Bell.  Reno married A.J. Silman, Bell married J.I. Petuske
