Marcus C. Richardson born Sept 2, 1792 died Dec 4, 1864 The devoted Husband tender & affectionate, patient warm & generous friend, true patient. A concious christian gentleman, were bright attributes of him who sleepeth beneath this sod. Marcus Richardson was promoted to Captain of Company D 23rd Virginia Cavalry in the War Between the States In memory of Elizabeth wife of Marcus C. Richardson born Oct 30, 1800 and departed this life Feb 9, 1860 in the 60th year of her age To the memory of Catharine Richardson who was born Feb 3, 1760 and departed this life Aug 19th 1837 Sacred to the Memory of Samuel Richardson who was born the 1 day of Feb. A.D. 1760 and departed this life the 18 day of Jan. A.D. 1831 Full of years and full of the veneration, respect and love of all who knew him. He was gathered to his father like the shock of corn matured by a well spent life of usefulness and philanthropy. In Memory of James Baker Richardson the darling boy of John C. and Sarah A. Richardson who was born April 25, 1848 and died Sept. 6, 1855 aged 7 years 4 months & 11 days Five children from 3 weeks to 3 years. 3 native stone markers no inscription. In Memory of Sam’l C. Richardson was born Sept 20, 1820 died July 8, 1857 in the 37 year of his age Timothy Oneal Born Dec 17, 1834 Died Feb 23, 1882
