Altizer ABINGDON -- The funeral service for Mr. Verlin Grant Altizer will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at 1 p.m. in the Farris Funeral Chapel with Reverend William Fowler and Reverend Don Watkins officiating. Entombment will be private. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Ellison Conrad, Jack Chambers, Harold Deitz, Dr. Alan Grantham, Dr. Thomas Johnson, Tyler Nuckols, Dr. William Nuckols, Dr. Emory Robinette, Oscar Vecellio and Robert White.
