Verlin G. Altizer

ABINGDON -- The funeral service for Mr. Verlin Grant Altizer will be 
conducted Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at 1 p.m. in the Farris Funeral Chapel 
with Reverend William Fowler and Reverend Don Watkins officiating.

Entombment will be private.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Ellison Conrad, Jack Chambers, Harold Deitz, 
Dr. Alan Grantham, Dr. Thomas Johnson, Tyler Nuckols, Dr. William Nuckols, 
Dr. Emory Robinette, Oscar Vecellio and Robert White.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Johnston 
Memorial Hospital Administrative Office, 351 Court St., N.E., Abingdon, 
VA 24210. (Please mark CCU on your check).

The family will receive friends Friday from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. and 
immediately following the service on Saturday in the funeral home.

Mr. Altizer, 77, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, in the Johnston Memorial 
Hospital.

Farris Funeral Service, Abingdon, is serving the Altizer family.
