Atkins Funeral services for Bonnie Sue Atkins will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002, in Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cass Farrior officiating. Burial will follow at Holston Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be deacons of Virginia Avenue Baptist Church, Pete Booher, Harley Taylor, Bruce Taylor, David Ryan, Keith Hobbs, Elwood Bumgarder and Carl Jackson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to HolstonValley Baptist Church Cemetery, 18396 Cleveland Road, Abingdon. Mrs. Atkins, 62, of Bristol Virginia, went home to be with her Lord Dec. 1, 2002, at Wellmont Hospice House. Weaver Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
