Ballou Sr. ABINGDON -- A memorial service for George L. "Bud" Ballou Sr. will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, at the graveside at Sunset Memorial Park in Damascus with Rev. Carol Ferguson officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Barker, Jimmy Atwood, Randy Atwood, Tommy Luck, Frankie Wagner and Billy Stovall. Mr. Ballou, 71, of 29093 Hart Run Drive passed away Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002, at his residence. Garrett Funeral Home in Damascus is serving the family of Mr. Ballou.
