Bryan DAMASCUS -- The funeral service for Charles N. "Noonie" Bryan will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, in the Garrett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jane Ayers officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Johnston Memorial Diabetic Education, 351 Court St., NE, Abingdon, VA 24210. The committal service and inurnment will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at Knollkreg Memorial Park in Abingdon with military graveside rites conducted by the Patton- Crosswhite V.F.W. Post 6975. The family will receive friends from 6-7:45 p.m. Wednesday prior to the funeral service at Garrett Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family via e-mail at condolences@garrettfuneralhome.com. Mr. Bryan, 64, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002, in York, Neb. Garrett Funeral Home in Damascus is serving the family of Mr. Bryan.
