Grimes GLADE SPRING -- Funeral services for Mr. George Washington Grimes will be held Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Farris Funeral Chapel. Pastor Larry Lusk will officiate. A eulogy will be provided by Gerald Blankenship. Music will be by soloist, Suzanne Wallace. Burial will follow in Baptist Cemetery in Glade Spring. Pallbearers will be Jack Grimes, Charles Mercer, Jim Arnold, Scott Arnold, Charles Connor and Fred Connor. Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Wallace, Lloyd White, Tom Whitehurst, Mike Hoback, Bobby Hammond, Gerald Blankenship, Cecil Sturgill, Erich Baldwin and Richard Wood. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Washington Springs United Methodist Church Building Fund c/o Mary Lee Davenport, 36570 Plumbcreek Road, Glade Spring, VA 24340.
