Range, 95, North East Street, Elizabethton, went to be with the Lord Monday, November 3, 2003 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. Range was a native of Damascus, Va., and the daughter of the late Elbert W. and Lula Belle Webb Bullock. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Andrew Range, in 1970, and a daughter, Mary Sue Range. Mrs. Range was a member of First Christian Church of Elizabethton and was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Gary Range, Lexington, N.C.; a daughter, Georgia Pierce, Elizabethton; seven grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; several special cousins; numerous friends; and a special friend, Gladys Sheets. According to Mrs. Range's wishes, her body was donated to the James H. Quillen College of Medicine. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Notice courtesy of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home.
