Martin ABINGDON -- Mr. Clarence Clayton "Petey" Martin, 50, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, in the Johnston Memorial Hospital. He was born in Loudon County, Va., and was a lifelong resident of Washington County. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Martin Jr.; and a brother, Danny Charles Martin. Survivors include his mother, Lucille Martin, Abingdon; two brothers, Rick Martin and Kenny Martin, both of Abingdon; two sisters, Shirley Denton, Bristol Tennessee and Tammy Martin, Abingdon. The funeral service will be conducted Thursday, Dec. 12, 2002, at 12:30 p.m. at the graveside in the Mountain View Methodist Cemetery with Mr. Bill Denton officiating. There will be no visitation in the funeral home. Those wishing to express sympathy online may do so by visiting www.farrisfuneralservice.com.
