She was a member of the Meadowview United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Megginson; a son, William T. Megginson; her parents, Charlie H. and Virginia Wright Marshall; four brothers; and five sisters. She was one of 14 children born to Charlie and Virginia Marshall. Survivors include three sons, John E. Megginson, Abingdon, Charles F. Megginson, Ft. Wayne, Ind., and James W. Megginson, Bristol Virginia; sisters, Thelma Montgomery and Addie Lewis; brothers, Granville Marshall and Payne Marshall; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A special thanks to Wellmont Hospice for their loving care of Mrs. Megginson. In honoring her last wishes, a private graveside service for immediate family and close friends will be conducted in the Old Glade Presbyterian Cemetery.
