She had lived most of her life in Washington County, Va., and had lived in Louisville, Ky., for 25 years. She was a faithful member of the Rosedale Baptist Church. She was a retired nurses aide at the Johnson Memorial Hospital and a member of the District 3 Senior Assembly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gressie and Bertha Minton; her first husband, Frank Stigers; and her second husband, Willard Millsap. She is survived by one son, Michael A. Stigers of Meadowview; five daughters, Katherine Barger and Karol Sue Davis, both of Louisville; Rosemary Shatley of Abingdon, Brenda Neese of Meadowview and Kim Blevins of Johnson City; three stepsons, Edward Ray Stigers of Chesterfield, Mich., Charles Edward Millsap of Charlotte, N.C., and Wayne Millsap of Charlotte; one brother, Daniel David Minton of Abingdon; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, March 30, 2003, at 2 p.m. in the Rosedale Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Don Paxton officiating. Burial will follow in the Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday night at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Richard Davis, James Mesker, Rob Shatley, Steve Blevins, Louis Minton, Sam Neese, Roger Minton and Andrew Neese. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Rosedale Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720.
