Patrick Jr. George F. Patrick Jr., 73, of Lee Garden, Bristol Virginia, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, at his residence. He was born in Bristol Virginia, a son of the late George F. and Hodgie Fleenor Patrick, and was the widower of Kathryn L. Patrick. He was a 1946 graduate of Virginia High School and was a graduate of the Cadet Corps of Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was the charter commanding officer of the National Guard Armory of Company B, 1030th Engineering Battalion of the Virginia National Guard. He was the owner of George F. Patrick and Co. of Honaker, a member of Honaker Lions Club, served on the board of Peoples Bank and the board of Social Services of Russell County. He was a member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church and attended Central Presbyterian Church in Bristol. He is survived by a daughter, Theresa Patrick Cole and her husband, Ron, of Bristol Virginia; three sons, Stephen Lynn Patrick and his wife, Ellen, of Abingdon, Michael Allen Patrick and his wife, Pamela, of Bristol Virginia and Gerald Frazier Patrick and his wife, Vicky, of Bristol Virginia; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Central Presbyterian Church with Dr. David Wadsworth officiating. Private committal and burial will follow in Knollkreg Memorial Park in Abingdon. Honorary pallbearers will be employees and associates of George F. Patrick and Co. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Monday evening at Blevins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Bristol Heart Association, c/o Mary Davis, P.O.
