She was born in Bristol Tennessee, the daughter of the late Joe and Cordelia Cunningham Davidson. She was a homemaker, a devoted mother and lifelong resident of the Bristol area. She was a member of North Bristol Baptist Church, where she worked in the one and two-year-old nursery for 38 years. Survivors include: husband of 56 years, Earl Raymond Rector; sons and daughters-in-law, James E. and Donnie Rector of Kingsport and Jerry and Barbara Rector of Bristol Virginia; six grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; and brothers, Albert Davidson and J.W. Davidson. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 5 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Joey Rector, grandson, officiating. Committal services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Knollkreg Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers include: elders and deacons of North Bristol Baptist Church.
