Richardson ABINGDON -- Mr. Robert Sawyers (Bobby)Richardson, 72, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, at Grace Healthcare in Abingdon. Mr. Richardson was a native of Washington County. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of American Legion Post 136. Survivors include one son, Stephen Atwood Richardson of Somersville, Fla.; three grandchildren; one brother, Thomas S. Richardson of Meadowview; three sisters, Cora Lee Richardson Faust of Bristol, Janie W. Richardson Reynolds of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Lois Joann Richardson Casey of Abingdon; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 8 p.m. at Farris Funeral Chapel. Rev. Stephen Ray Richardson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday prior to the service. Interment will be private at a later date.
