Stanley GLADE SPRING -- Mr. Robert L. Stanley, 74, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at his home in Glade Spring. Mr. Stanley was the son of the late John and Laura Woods Stanley. He was preceded in death by one brother; and six sisters. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Saltville V.F.W. Post 7328. Survivors: one sister, Mary Garrett, Chilhowie; and eight nieces and nephews. Military graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, at the National Cemetery in Mountain Home, Tenn. Friends may call at the home of Patsy and Everett Rose any time. The D.R. Henderson Funeral Home is serving the Stanley family.
