Warren ABINGDON -- Mrs. Susie Jordan Warren, age 86, died Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Washington County, Va., where she was a member of the Barnes Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Warren and four sons, Herbert Warren, Howard Warren, Carl Warren and Clifford Warren. She is survived by: three sons: Fred Warren of Winston-Salem, N.C.; Rodney Warren of Abingdon; and James Warren Sr. of Meadowview, Va.; five daughters: Eileen Myers of Winston- Salem; Betty Corbett of Columbia, S.C.; Patricia Banner of Abingdon; Wanda Kestner of Glade Spring; and Donna Quetsch of Abingdon; one brother, George Jordan Jr. of Danville, Va.; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, June 7, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. in the Farris Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roger Hearl and Rev. Rev. Donald Denton officiating. Burial will follow in the Warren Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7- 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home or anytime at the home of Rodney Warren, 18101 Kenwarn Lane (off Wyndale Road) in Abingdon. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
