Weaver ABINGDON -- Ms. Mildred Hawthorne Weaver, 54, died Tuesday morning, Dec. 10, 2002, in Fort Pierce, Fla. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Ola Hawthorne of Abingdon. She lived in Abingdon for 18 years, then moved to Chester, Va., where she worked for Allied Signal, then moved to Florida. Survivors include: one brother, Roy E. Hawthorne, Mount Dora, Fla.; six sisters, Ms. Florence Connally of Alberta Canada, Mrs. Ellen Reed of Roanoke, Mrs. Betty Henegar and Ms. Lois Cuneo of Chester, Ms. Lorene Shaw and Mrs. Lucille Preston of Abingdon; four nephews; seven nieces; 17 great--nephews and great-nieces; and fiance, Magni Ingolsson of Fort Pierce. Funeral services will be held at Knollkreg Memorial Park Dec. 21, 2002, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jimmy Davidson presiding.
