Price of the County of Washington and State of Virginia I, George W. Price being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make and publish this as and for my last will and testament. (1st) I wish all of my debts and funeral expenses to be promptly paid. (2nd) I give and bequeth unto my beloved wife, Julia Ann Price, all of my property, real and personal, of every nature and description, to be held by her for the use and benefit of herself during her natural life, with full privilege to sell and handle any of the personal property left by me, for her use and benefit while she lives, but she shall not sell nor dispose of any of the lands. (3rd) It is my will that Emma Price, the girl now living with us as one of the family, shall remain within my widow, and be supported as one of the family out of the means left by me during the natural life time of the said Julia Ann Price.. (4th) Upon the death of the said Julia Ann Price (now my wife), if the said Emma Price is then living, she shall be paid the sum of three hundred ($300.00) dollars cash, out of my property, either out of the personal or real estate as the conditions at that time may require. The said Emma Price also shall be given any bed that she may select, which is on the premises at the time of the death of the said Julia Ann Price. Said bed to consist of bed-stead, feather beds, pillows, sheets, quilts, blankets &c. in such quantites as to make up a first class bed in all respects and also the bureau which is now in my house and which was paid for by the said Emma Price. (5th) Upon the death of the said Julia Ann Price (now my wife) all of the personal property then remaining, (if there should be any) and all of the real estate shall be sold at public auction, after properly advertising same, and after first paying off the said Emma Price as above provided for, the remainder shall be divided among my legal heirs as the law directs. (6th) I nominate and appoint David R. Farris, as executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal and publish and declare this to be my last will, this the 30th day of January, 1917. George W. Price as and for his last will and testament, in the presence of us who, in his presence and at his request, and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as attesting witnesses. J. H. Nunley, Witnesses, G. W. Counts VIRGINIA-In the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Washington County, on the 23rd day of August, 1920, before the Clerk of said Court. A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of George W. Price, deceased, was this day produced before the Clerk of the said Court, in his office, and said writing and the signature thereto was proven by the oaths of J. H. Nunley and G. W. Counts, the subscribing witnesses thereto. It is therefore ordered that the said writing be and the same is recorded as and for the true last will and testament of the said George W. Price, deceased. And thereupon David R. Farris, who is named as the Executor in the said will, and who took the oaths of an Executor prescribed by law, together with H. H. Price and Charles Price, his securities, entered into and acknowledged a bond as such Executer, in the penalty of Eight Hundred Dollars, conditioned according to law.
