Adam SURBER last will and testament. Washington Co., VA, Will Book 11, page 335 Submitted to the USGenWeb Archives by Elvina Hiatt hiatt@flash.net I Adam Surber of Washington Co VA being of sound mind and disposing memory make and declare this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say-- First, I desire that immediately after my decease my executor shall sell all my estate both real and personal land and tenements that may not hereafter be particularly devised and out of the proceeds first to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses. Second, I give and bequeath to my two sons Adam and Andy Surber one hundred dollars each to make them equal to what I have heretofore given the balance of my children. 3rd. I desire that my children namely Adam Surber, Andy Surber, Mary Whitehead, Isaac S. Surber, Joseph Surber, Waity Widener shall each receive one hundred fifty dollars if my estate should be worth sufficiently and after they each of them shall have r 4th I give and bequeath to Waity Widener my clock in addition to what is named above, and my family Bible and choice of my tables and two her have of my chairs flax Hackle and big spools. 5th I give to my grand daughter, Martha Widener a counterpiece. 6th I do hereby constitute and impower my executor to convey to such person or persons as may purchase my lands all right and title interest in me. Lastly. I do hereby constitute and appoint Isaac S. Surber Executor to this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all other or former wills by me heretofore made.
